Soloist - Budi Bone

Budi Boné (Boody Boné) was born in Indonesia and grew up in Bali. He learnt to sing from a professional vocal coach at his church choir, and from that point on he continued to further develop both his vocal and musical talents. Budi became a professional singer in 1993 and began performing in many five star hotels in Bali. As a professional musician in a famous international tourist destination, Budi learnt many different music styles and can perform songs from many different eras.
Budi’s unique skills in singing and playing percussion has made his performances something really special. Budi's passion in music has also motivated him to know more about the songwriters, and also the history of the cover songs, that he performs. This has enabled him to understand far more about his musical influences, which in return has helped to further develop his soulful and versatile voice.
Budi plays various music styles from Country, Reggae, Pop, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Alternative, Jazz and R’n’B right up to current top 40 Hits. His huge music repertoire and ability to read the crowd makes his show suitable for all generations.
Budi moved with his family to Terrigal on the NSW Central Coast in April 2005. He then formed the Kuta Groove Duo in November of that year and has been performing shows around the country since then.
